Summary Statement

The Indian River Life-Saving Station seasonal Revenue/Administrative Support position is responsible for welcoming park visitors, disseminating information and collecting and accounting for park permits and resale items.  Duties will include taking park program reservations, maintaining gift shop displays and running an automated sales program.  This is a year round position that must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Essential Functions

  • Provide general customer service and park information to visitors.
  • Collecting appropriate fees and accountability for handling of money.
  • Maintain gift shop displays and inventory.
  • Must be dependable and have good communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and have fun.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Seasonal/Administrative Support

Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

  1. Six months experience in customer service.
  2. Six months experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets or databases.
