This position is responsible for providing leadership for the Delaware State Parks Programming unit which operates Nature Centers and day camp programs at 16 state parks. Position duties include supervising the Brandywine Zoo, Cultural Resources unit, Interpretation, and Recreation programs. This position supervises a staff of over 120 full time and seasonal staff. Incumbent will be required to pass a criminal background check conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation.
Job duties include developing interpretive plans, conducting and creating interpretive training, budgeting, managing grants, project management, evaluate program effectiveness, managing special events and working closely with community groups.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Training/Education Administrator I
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
