The incumbent in this position manages all aspects of day-to-day activities at Alapocas Run State Park including the state park office, visitor services, park operations and maintenance, related events and programs. Develops and implements the management plan for the Blue Ball Barn special use facility including housed collections. Responsible for staff recruitment, supervision and development at both Alapocas Run and Wilmington State Parks. Develops and administers the park operations budget, assesses park needs, oversees revenue collection and develops mid to long range plans.
