Summary Statement

Works closely with the Facility Superintendent to ensure that event rooms, room set-ups and audio-visual equipment are set to client’s specifications.  The Facilities include: Bellevue Hall, Cauffiel House, Figure 8 Barn, Mt. Pleasant Meeting House and Parsonage.  Also works with the Facility Superintendent and Park Assistant Superintendent to maintain the properties by performing maintenance of the facilities and surrounding areas. Applicants must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled.

Essential Functions

Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all position in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class.   • Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, trail maintenance, landscape bed maintenance, trash removal, vegetation removal, leaf removal and snow/ice removal.
  • Perform custodial services in restrooms, offices and other buildings.
  • Operation of landscaping equipment and use of hand and power tools.
  • Set-up, monitoring and clean-up support for park programs and special events.
  • Maintain good public relations with park visitors and staff.
  • Work dependable and have good communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and have fun.
