New on-line application system
Around September 19, 2011 CDOT began using the online application system “CO-Jobs”.  This application system is supported by the Department of Personnel and is used by all other state agencies in Colorado.

To apply for CDOT positions, applicants must do so in Co-Jobs.  To view how Co-Jobs works or to begin an on-line application, go to www.colorado.gov/cojobs and open the link to employment.  Check out the website and for more information on a specific job, click on the job title you are interested in. To apply for the position, click 'Apply'. If this is the first time you are applying using CO-Jobs, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password. After your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the 'Build Job Application' link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening.

CDOT will continue to maintain JobAps (this website) for the next few months so you can access your stored application and make the transition to CO-Jobs.  Again, no applications can be submitted from this website.  You must go to www.colorado.gov/cojobs to apply for a CDOT job.
