Director of Environmental Health

San Joaquin County is seeking a proven leader to lead and manage the Environmental Health Department. The Environmental Health Director is responsible for leading, managing, and administerting the programs, functions, budgets, and activities of the department and for ensuring that all department programs, and operations comply with applicable laws and regulations. The incumbent is expected to model a high level of integrity, strong work ethic and leaderships skills including accountability for oneself and others.

This position is exempt from the San Joaquin County Civil Service system. Appointments to exempt positions in San Joaquin County are at-will and not governed by the Civil Service Rules.
