Introduction
San Joaquin County Public Health Services is seeking a Chief of Public Health Laboratory Services. This position is a member of the Department’s management team and reports to the Senior Deputy Director of Programs. This position provides leadership and administrative oversight for the laboratory, including San Joaquin County’s state-of-the-art BSL-3 laboratory facility. San Joaquin County Public Health Laboratory provides comprehensive public health laboratory services to seven surrounding counties in addition to public and private entities in San Joaquin County. The work environment is positive and enjoys the support of a talented and committed staff.
