Haier America, a division of the Haier Group, is contributing $72 million more to its existing $40 million facility in Camden, South Carolina. This state-of-the-art expansion will create 410 new jobs for the local workforce within the next five years. Hiring is expected to begin the summer of 2016.

Minimum qualifications required:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
-
Ability to read a tape measure and other measurement devices such as Calipers and Thickness & Heights Gages

Experience using computer/electronic devices
-
Stable work history and good work ethic
-
Must have a positive attitude and good people and management skills

Good communication skills, read, understand and follow instructions

Willing to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Machine operation experience
- Computer Numerical Control (CNC) experience
Training will be at no charge to trainees.
