This state-of-the-art expansion will create 410 new jobs for the local workforce within the next five years. Hiring is expected to begin the summer of 2016.

Quality Technician
Minimum qualifications required:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
-
Stable work history
-
Good communication skills and ability to read, understand and carry out written or verbal instructions
-
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use power tools to cut and size samples
-
Experience using quality checking tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, thickness gages, and dial indicators
-
Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and understand Bill of Materials
-
Computer and electronics skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
-
Stand, sit, lift and walk up to 10 hours per day

Preferred Qualifications:

American Society for Quality (ASQ) Quality Technician Certification

South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC)
