Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description: We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to assist the Switcher with any needs in shipping to ensure shipments are made in a timely manner and communicate with all departments to ensure daily schedules are completed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily communication with Switcher
-
Bill orders for shipments
-
Release backorders daily
-
Ensure timely deliveries
-
Communicate with customer service regarding delivery issues
-
Coordinate all shipments with logistic carriers
-
Ensure sale orders are released and off hold
-
File and maintain file folders
-
Assist with answering the phones as needed
-
Maintain good housekeeping practices
-
Practice good safety techniques
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
-
Three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Ability to read and interpret documents related to safety, maintenance, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
-
Above average verbal communication skills
-
Ability to observe and make decisions based on those observations
