Potential employment opportunities exist for:

Quality Engineer

 

 

 

  Requirements:
  • Implement effective quality systems to support ISO accreditation for the business. Management of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits, implementing corrective actions and offering solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to the inspection function (Pairing, Leitz, and General training to be provided if required).
  • Management of calibration system ensuring all required items are maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, health and safety requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring and measuring performance levels. Assist in non-conformance investigations, problem solving and 8D report writing.
  • Provide liaison support between the three main stakeholders: suppliers, manufacturing team and customers.
  • Responsible for Creating and updating work instructions and SOP’s to standardize processes and promote safe and efficient working practices.
  • Report opportunities for improvement on quality, manufacturing processes, time efficiencies, conduct gauge and capability studies.
  • Other duties may be required.

 

 

 

 Experience and Knowledge: 

  • Possess a good understanding of ISO 9001 requirements
  • Demonstrate experience of continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
  • Experience  working in manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply technical drawings, with knowledge of Industry specifications
  • Ability to motivate others to comply with quality processes in a team environment Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to deliver long term goals as well as react to immediate needs of internal and external customers
  • Conduct and facilitate quality investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Strong computer skills
  • Manage numeric information and use analytical tools to interpret and present data

Qualifications:   B.S. Degree in a technical discipline or at least 2 years of working experience in either Engineering Automotive or Manufacturing.
