Canada-based Fancy Pokket Corporation, a manufacturer of gluten-free bakery products, located Lancaster, SC
Potential employment opportunities exist for:
Quality Assurance Supervisor
Quality Assurance Supervisor: Design, implement and maintain a quality system that will ensure products are manufactured as per specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and implement a quality system in the plant and update procedures and equipment as needed.

Prepare all manuals, procedures, and work instructions related to quality (SOP’s, Policies, GMP’s, CCP’s) and ensure plant is executing the consistently.

Prepare plant for BRC certification and maintain system.

Identify and implement continuous process improvement program.
-
Keep current with government regulations, and/or any certifications that have been obtained. (ex. Kosher, Halal)

Have a good understanding of plant and operation.

Train and assist plant manager, supervisors, and all employees on implementation of the quality system.

Implement a sanitation program for the plant and all the equipment. Train all employees on requirements.

Monitor and document the quality activities and procedures, conducting quality control test.

Manage/Supervise Sanitation crew
Qualifications:
-
College degree
-
Good Math skills
-
Knowledge of BRC and any other food certifications
-
Strong management and leadership skills.
-
Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
-
Effective oral and written communication skills.
-
Willing to work flexible shifts and hours.
-
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
