Warehouse Workers

 

 

 

Job Duties:  

 

 

  • Receive and places into inventory, all incoming parts and supplies.
  • Operate a variety of mobile industrial equipment (gas, diesel and electric), including fork lifts, tuggers and excavators
  • Working from picklists, prepare and deliver parts and supplies to the production area.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for delivery
  • Operate a variety of overhead lifting devices
  • Perform final stage prepping and testing of excavator units
  • Actively participate in process improvement activities (safety, quality and productivity)
  • Keep work area clean, free from safety hazards and follows all applicable safety rules
  • Work as a team member and co-operates with co-workers
  • Ability to work overtime when required, including weekends

 

 

Experience Required: 

 

  • High School diploma (or GED)
  • 1 year of warehouse, product/parts handling experience in a manufacturing operation
  • Fork lift certification (preferred)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient  in the execution of standardized methods and procedures
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and practices
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior
