The company is now hiring for its operation in Greenville, SC.
Potential employment opportunities exist for:
Engineering Tech
Purpose:
Develop and improve industrial PLC software in a factory environment. Maintain software repository for PLC, HMI's, and Vision Systems.
Responsibilities:
-
Perform PLC control level issue diagnosis using ladder logic and HMI's.

Follow change management process and develop ad-hoc PLC ladder code changes.
-
Familiarization with Allen-Bradley PLC processers (SLC, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, and ControlLogix preferred) and input/output modules.

Knowledge of other non-A-B control systems such as GE 9030 is a plus.
-
Use AutoCAD to review, develop and maintain electrical schematic and conveyor layout drawings.
-
Participates in the preventive and predictive maintenance programs for any plant electrical, electronic and instrument equipment or control system.

Works from information obtained from engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, simple and complex sketches as well as other related documents.

Troubleshoots electrical, electronic and instrument systems.

Participates in the safety and good housekeeping programs established within the plant. Completes Work Orders, Activity Reports, and Work Logs Works in an efficient self-directed manner to resolve electrical issues that plague the plant or a specific process. Maintains software systems repository for HMI's PLC's and Vision Systems.

Maintain production equipment sensor inventory and facilitate standardization with electronics and electrical components.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree in engineering related field

AutoCAD training desirable
-
Certification in Allen Bradley PLC systems

Ability to multi-task and work within a collaborative maintenance and engineering team

Ability to document changes in written formats
-
Must be able to plan and execute in written form a safe job plan utilizing safe work practices.
Training will be at no charge to trainees.

Starting Pay Range of $26.09 – 32.91/ hr DOE
