Toray Carbon Fibers America, Inc.

 

 

 

Toray Carbon Fibers America, Inc. is the world's largest producer of PAN (polyacrylonitrile)-based carbon fibers; and is in the process of building a carbon fiber plant in Moore, SC. 

 

 

 

Potential employment opportunities exist for:

Production Technicians/Specialists

 

 

 

 

 Job Duties:

 

 

  • Must be able to handle physically demanding work and operate in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work a 12 hour rotating shift plus overtime when required.
  • Must be able to operate several types of equipment.
  • Must be able to attend training in out of state location for at least two months.

 

 

 Experience Required:

 

 

  • All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • 2-5 years manufacturing experience required.
  • Related experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment is preferred, 2-5 years a plus.
  • Candidates must possess routine maintenance skills, basic mathematics skills, ability to analyze and locate information, mechanical aptitude, communication, computer and interpersonal skills.
