Entry Level Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities:
-
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, part replacement and modifications for aircraft
-
Be familiar with and perform assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with federal aviation regulations, repair station manuals, airworthiness directives, advisory circulars, manufacturer’s recommendations and service bulletins, customer-approved maintenance programs, and approved or acceptable data
-
Troubleshoot problems, make repairs, and prepare areas for complete inspections
-
Perform high quality and airworthy work in accordance with written instructions
-
Adhere to processes associated with issued task cards, including proper scanning
-
Adhere to commercial jet’s standard procedures and policies
-
Accurately and legibly, record maintenance or alterations
-
Report any difficulties, uncertainties, unserviceable equipment, or potential safety hazards
-
Observe all safety precautions in the performance of assigned tasks at all times
-
Report and properly tag any tool issues
-
Take part in any required training, including GMM and safety
-
Maintain clean and orderly work areas
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Valid FAA A&P license is a must
-
Proven ability to work alone and in a team environment
-
Pass a drug and alcohol pre-employment screening
