Potential employment opportuntiies available for:
Maintenance Technicians
Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment. The incumbent’s performance directly affects the efficiency of our overall operations and machine downtime.
Key Responsibilities
-
Work closely with Team Leads and Supervisors to understand maintenance needs
-
Observes machinery and mechanical equipment to determine root cause of issues
-
Dismantle machinery and equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts
-
Repairs or replaces defective parts that are found due to root cause analysis
-
Installs and adjusts function and structural parts and control instruments on equipment
-
Participates in preventative maintenance program, evaluating, lubricating and cleaning parts
-
Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections and determine changes needed
-
Initiates purchase order for parts and machines as needed to ensure efficient operations
-
Other duties as required to successfully perform the job
Critical Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Proficiency in basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
-
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical equipment and preventative maintenance
-
Able to bend, twist, turn and squat during installation and equipment repair/replacement
-
Able to stand for long periods of time
-
Basic computer skills required
-

Preferred Qualifications

Certificate or Associate’s degree in a mechanically or electrically inclined discipline
-
Forklift certification
