Potential employment opportuntiies available for:
General Assembly
General Assembly associates will be responsible for the assembly of structural parts, components and finished goods, using hand and power tools. The incumbent’s performance will have a direct impact on the efficiency of the area’s operation and production.
Key Responsibilities
-
Work closely with Team Leads and Supervisors to understand production and scheduling needs
-
Compare all available parts or components against the Bill of Materials (BOMs) for part accuracy
-
Examine structural parts, components and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards
-
Position components to be assembled using a variety of hand and power tools
-
Use measuring equipment gauges to ensure produced parts meet specification
-
Participate in all first articles inspections to standards ensuring quality targets are met
-
Record data as it relates to productivity and first article inspections of parts assembled
-
Other duties as required to successfully perform the job
Critical Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Proficiency in basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
-
Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints at different levels within manufacture
-
Able to bend, twist, turn and squat during assembly
-
Able to stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications
-
Basic computer skills
