Industrial Mechanic
Job Description: We are seeking an Industrial Mechanic to conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance service. For additional information, please visit http://www.readysc.org/sunfiber
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist all teams during the installation, maintenance and repair of process equipment.
-
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of process equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.

Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications.

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.

Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
-
Read and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Maintain OSHA compliance at all times.

Prepare reports and analyses indicating work progress, performance and maintenance records and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.

Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Associates Degree preferred.
-
3-5 years of proven experience in the industrial mechanic field required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in this area.

Completion of OSHA Trainings Highly Preferred

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
-
Ability to work in extreme temperatures
-
Capable of lifting 50 pounds
