Within Trelleborg Wheel Systems Business Area, the Agricultural and Forestry Tires Business Unit is opening a new manufacturing plant in South Carolina. Based in our site in Spartanburg, SC, we are looking for Cost Accountant
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance with minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Manufacturing experience in a finance capacity required. Experience with ERP system preferred.
- In cooperation with M3 team responsible for implementation data accumulation systems for accurate and timely reporting of relevant costing information.
- Responsible for accurate preparation of monthly Industrial Report.
- Comparing the actual product costs to standard and creating variance analyses.
- Through the use of Time Study, he/she will be responsible to maintain accurate Bill of Materials and Bill of Labor.
- Analyzes and monitors Raw Material, Work in Process, and Finished Goods inventories and investigates any discrepancies.
- Analyses actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing budget costs to actual production costs; this includes product margin reporting and analytics.
- Responsible for Capital Asset maintenance, reconciliation Fixed Asset listing to General Ledger, periodic fixed asset inventory to comply with Group instructions.
- Responsible for implementation and coordination of inventory cycle counting and periodic physical inventory process. Must be passionate about accounting.
- Starting salary is $47,000/year.
