Within Trelleborg Wheel Systems Business Area, the Agricultural and Forestry Tires Business Unit is opening a new manufacturing plant in South Carolina. Based in our site in Spartanburg, SC, we are looking for Process Engineer
- Works primarily with production, maintenance, and other engineers to enhance current and new processes.
- Analyze and make necessary changes to enhance machine functionality.
- Implement continuous improvement and upgrade of machinery.
- Execute the Plant pre-series, using the installed machines and following the defined process flow.
- Optimize costs on the process.
- Define standard tools and standard machine specification.
- Managing Prototype indicators (timing, cost, logistic, quality).
- Product and process feasibility analysis in acc. with Central R&D.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or related field of study, or 4 years of directly related work experience.
- Solid background in tire building process.
- At least 2-3 yrs in R&D and/or Process Development.
- Must have flexibility to work variable shifts.
