Based in our site in Spartanburg, SC, we are looking for
Tech Operators
-
High School Diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution required.

Experienced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.

Experience in ISO9001, ISO/TS16949, OSHA18001 and ISO14001 quality systems preferred.

No prior tire manufacturing experience required.

Responsible for machine start-up and shut-down, routine & non-routine material changes, machine adjustments as required.

Responsible for fault diagnosis & implementing corrective actions to minimize machine downtime.

Directly assist in the training & development of newly hired staff (as required).

Must be available to work any shift needed, including weekends. Overtime may be required.

Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs.

Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills (Spanish is a plus).

Must be eligible to secure a passport and willing to travel internationally for two 6-week periods.

Starting wage is $17.50/hour.

Training will be at no charge to trainees.

Successful completion of the training program carries no obligation to accept any offer of employment, nor is an offer guaranteed.
