E&I Engineering USA Corp.
Formed in 1986 in Ireland, the E&I Engineering Group manufacture bespoke electrical switchgear and busduct systems for large infrastructure projects which include Data Centers, Banks, Airports, Sports Stadiums etc. In addition to the Irish facility, the Group also has a manufacturing facility in the United Arab Emirates. The Group is setting up a facility in South Carolina (SC) to serve the North American market and are now embarking on a recruitment drive to meet our skills needs within our SC manufacturing facility.

CAD Engineer
Job Function:
Reporting to the General Manager, this position presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to CAD modeling and manufacturing drawings pertaining to electrical switchgear and busduct product lines.
Full remit of the post will encompass the following duties:-

Detailed design drawings and documentation, in line with specification requirements for LV Switchgear and busduct systems.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Proven exposure and track record as follows;
-
An academic qualification related to the post such as Certified Solid Work Professional, City & Guilds level 3 in CAD or equivalent.

1 years experience in a 2D/3D package such as Solid Works or Pro E.

Knowledge of Engineering drawing standards is necessary.

A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, involved injection molding and sheet metal fabrication.

An adaptability to respond to a fast moving business environment

Accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
