E&I Engineering USA Corp.

 

Formed in 1986 in Ireland, the E&I Engineering Group manufacture bespoke electrical switchgear and busduct systems for large infrastructure projects which include Data Centers, Banks, Airports, Sports Stadiums etc. In addition to the Irish facility, the Group also has a manufacturing facility in the United Arab Emirates. The Group is setting up a facility in South Carolina (SC) to serve the North American market and are now embarking on a recruitment drive to meet our skills needs within our SC manufacturing facility.

 

 

 

 Full time positions available for:

 

  

MECHANICAL FABRICATOR / FITTER

 

 

Job Function:

 

 

The manufacture, fabrication and or fitting of electrical components pertaining to electrical switchgear and or busduct production assembly.

 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Measurement / fabrication of panel busduct systems.
  • Installations of busducts, ACB’s, MCCB’s and panel separation busducts.
  • Fit-out of MCCB handles, castell locks, gland plates etc.
  • Familiar with the use of engineering equipment including Band saws, Hydraulic Benders, Punches etc. Working to high tolerances.
  • The repair, adjustment and or replacement of all mechanical or electrical components as required.
  • Troubleshoot and analyzing mechanical problems and take corrective action to resolve any issues.
  • Capable of using all measuring tools as required.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area during shift.
  • Perform other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
  • Observe all safety rules and use the proper safety equipment at all times.
