Coroplast Tape Corporation a new operation in Rock Hill, South Carolina will transform unique raw materials and manufacture them into quality tapes for the Automotive Industry.

Potential Employment Opportunities exist for: 

General Utility Mechanic

Employee will assist maintenance team leader and mechanics in repair, maintenance and installation of machined, tools and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, ground, and utility systems of industrial plant or warehouse by performing the following duties:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  

 

·         Assist with repairs or production equipment during production

·         Assist with preventative maintenance repairs of production equipment as assigned

·         Assist with electrical & mechanical repairs as needed.

·         Prepare cores and slitter knives for Converting Department

·         Demonstrate safe use of sharps

·         Maintain building & property maintenance

·         Address any safety issues for machinery, support equipment and building

·         Follow TS16949 requirements

·         Maintain Housekeeping in Department

·         Operate floor sweeper/scrubber weekly

·         Provide support for pre-production heating of production equipment and processes

·         Operate Forklift & Scissor lift as needed

·         Provide on call support to Production and Team

·         Perform other duties as required or assigned

·         Basic email and computer skills required

                Qualifications

• Employee must be able to read interpret documents such as schematics, drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write route reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Employee is regularly required to drive a forklift, stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.
• Push and pull up to 100 pound may be required.
• 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
