Coroplast Tape Corporation a new operation in Rock Hill, South Carolina will transform unique raw materials and manufacture them into quality tapes for the Automotive Industry.

Potential Employment Opportunities exist for: 

Forklift Operator

Employee will support Materials Team Leader with activities related to material handling to ensure needs for internal and external customers are met by performing the following duties:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure material flow in compliance with material traceability system connected to shipping, receiving and storage

• Perform daily and weekly safety inspections per instructions and requirements

• Maintain required inspection, material and traceability paperwork

• Assist in organizing and tracking of Raw Material, Work in Process and Finished Goods

• Stage and record product for planned shipments based on weekly schedule and daily instructions

• Load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving

• Store Raw Material, Work In Process and Finished Goods in warehouse racking safely and properly

• Deliver and retrieve materials direct to Production lines to ensure proper levels are maintained

• Verify proper labeling prior to movement and storage

• Maintain warehouse and shipping/receiving area housekeeping

• Follow all policies and procedures of TS16949

• Support 5S activities in team

• Confirmation and Completion of documents

• Demonstrate safe use of sharps

• Perform other duties as required or assigned

   

 

Qualifications:

 

 

• Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and metric system. Compute rate, ratio and percent; and draw and interpret bar graphs. 
• Basic email and computer skills required.
• Previous proof of Forklift Operator certified on Stand-Up Reach Trucks.
• Occasionally required to sit. Lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
