Coating Team Member

Employee will support Director of Production with activities engaged in operating Coating Machines and support equipment of industrial plant by performing the following duties:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support minor repairs and adjustments of production equipment during production
• Conduct changeovers of raw material master rolls and mother rolls
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Operate overhead cranes
• Ensure adhesive supply is constant to drum heaters
• Complete all paperwork and labeling for each roll
• Complete accurate quality system documents
• Follow all policies and procedures related to TS16949
• Maintain safe work practices at all times
• Ability to respond quickly to issues that arise during production
• Maintain Housekeeping and Organization in Coating area
• Demonstrate safe use of sharps
• Support 5S activities in Team
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

          Qualifications:

  • Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and metric system. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
    Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Basic computer skills required.
