Responsibilities Include:

• Tends machine that cuts and folds terry product
• Manually fold product if machine is not operational. 
• Need to be quick and precise in a safe manner
• Make boxes and labels for outgoing products
• Remove filled box of products from machine to staging
• Inspect fabric for holes, tears, bad seams, shade, dirt and grease, etc., and notify Team Leader and/or member of Management of any issues
• Record and maintain production, downtime and related forms/documentation
• Communicate with other assigned associates concerning lot and style changes, problems with fabric or equipment, and prior to starting or stopping equipment
• Perform cleaning and threading operations on assigned equipment and assist in general department
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to include oiling bearings and filling automatic oiling system with oil
• Follow standard written operating procedures in the operation, cleaning, maintenance, and threading of equipment to meet or exceed requirements for production and quality of assigned operation
• Perform such and other duties as directed in order to facilitate an efficient operation, promote safety and good housekeeping

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year production or machine operation experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Good communication skill and ability to read/write English
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Flexible to work either shift
