Job Description:  We are seeking Machine Operators to operate machines to convert cotton sliver into continuous cotton yarns.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Check the safety doors of machines to ensure they are closed and safe for operation.
• Start machines, monitor operation spinning machines and make work adjustments as needed.
• Will insert slivers and color tubes on machines and ensure that sliver does not break.
• Solve the yarn break problem if needed.
• Will perform scheduled cleaning of machines and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Notify supervisors or mechanics of equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Light to moderate physical effort required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the facility.
• Drug Screen and background check required.
• Candidate must be able to work in a loud, warm environment with cotton fibers.
