Machinist/CNC Operator
Qualifications and Requirements Include:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience in the set-up and operation of horizontal shapers plus operating computer controlled machines that mill, drill and ream metal parts
-
Experience in making general decisions as to the quality, tolerances, dimensions, and operation sequence with precision measuring instruments using a variety of measuring tools such as indicators, micrometers, and gages. (CMM experience a PLUS)

Machine shop training, shop mathematics, metal properties, and GD&T
-
Set and adjust tooling as needed

Make tool and fixture offsets
-
Interpret gear charts and reports.

Prior machining experience and/or training preferred
-
Use hand-held instruments, gages, CMM, etc. to verify product quality.

Read blueprints
-
Work well in a team environment
-
Responsible for quality and quantity of production
