will assist in recruiting and on-the-job training for employment opportunities which exist at:

SMOOTH-BOR

 Smooth-Bor operates custom-built plastic extrusion lines, as well as injection molding machines to manufacture flexible plastic corrugated hose and tubing for medical and commercial uses.  Smooth-Bor is known throughout world-wide market segments as the leader in high-quality corrugated hose and tubing.  

Full time positions are currently available for:

Qualifications and requirements include:

• Minimum six (6) months previous experience operating extrusion equipment required.
• Operates plastic extrusion machines.
• Visually inspects parts produced for process trends or defects. Perform 5s and housekeeping duties.
• Document defects during production.
• Possess the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Positions require working near moving mechanical parts, extremely hot machinery, and working with moderate noise.
• Regular attendance is essential to perform assigned work.
• Will participate in regular safety programs.
• Non-smoking building, climate controlled, and clean facility.
• Hiring will be for all three shifts:  7:30 am – 4 pm; 3:30 pm – midnight; 11:30 pm – 8 am.
• Competitive wage and benefit package.
• Must be able to comfortably stand, walk, bend and twist for more than 80% of a shift. 
• Pre-employment drug screening. Criminal background checks.
• Starting wage is $13.00 per hour.
