Gonvauto South Carolina, LLC

Spain-based Gonvarri Steel Services, a provider of steel processing to manufacturers is locating a new production plant in Union County. Gonvauto South Carolina will process and supply steel to Gestamp, which is also located in Union County. Gonvauto South Carolina will have a flat steel products processing capacity of 100, 000 tons.

JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Assist in the administration and monitoring of the resources for receiving raw material for correct storage, location and line feeding.
Works closely with supervisors, schedulers and production to keep abreast of all orders, schedule due date, production time frames and coordinate any changes that are necessary.
Follow-up on orders and schedules receipt of raw material, coordinates deliveries, unloading and storage revising schedule as deemed necessary.
Lead the raw material and finished goods inventory.
Lead the appointing of resources to move the product from finish lines, locate finish product as well as ship to client.
Follow-up to ensure proper documentation, including transit documents and customer clearances, exist for shipment. Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders, and customers in a timely manner.
Assist with the planning and scheduling of appropriate modes of transportations based on daily needs. Schedules service lines and maintains a cost effective balance between customer service and cost of shipment.
Reports all incidents and accidents in a timely manner.
