Will Conduct a Special Training Program for
readySC™ , Tri-County Technical College and First Quality Tissue® have partnered to conduct a special training program for employment opportunities which will exist at First Quality's Anderson, SC plant. Training applications are currently being accepted for the following positions:
Maintenance Technican
Purpose and role of job: Operate, test, maintain, or calibrate unmanned, automated, servo-mechanical, or electromechanical equipment. May assist engineers in testing and troubleshooting robotics equipment. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production and any associated equipment to ensure highest reliability, proper line performance, and safe operation and coordinating PM programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills. Uses communication and organizational skills to coordinate or train others to accomplish goals.
- Previous work-related skill, knowledge or experience is required: One or two years of training involving both on-the-job experience and informal training with experience workers.
- Standard mechanical and process aptitude.
- Training in vocational school or an associate's degree preferred.
- Ability to operate power industrial trucks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
- Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Pre-employment drug screen is required.

Training will be held at no charge to trainees.

Classes will be held during morning and/or evening hours at Tri-County Technical College
