To plan, organize, direct and manage the activities of a major division within the Treasurer - Tax department including tax collections, treasury function and receipt, control and investment of funds for the County, school districts and special districts; to coordinate division activities with other divisions and departments; and to provide highly complex assistance to the Treasurer - Tax Collector.
The Manager level recognizes positions that provide full line and functional management responsibility for a division or program area within a department.
Receives administrative direction from the Treasurer–Tax Collector.
Exercises direct supervision over supervisory, professional, technical and clerical personnel.

Experience and Training
Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible professional financial experience with a focus in treasury and tax, including two years of supervisory responsibility.
Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, business administration, or a related field.
Required License or Certificate:
May need to possess a valid California driver's license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
