The Information Services Division (ISD) is seeking a full-time Senior .Net Developer for our Oklahoma City location providing services to the State Department of Education. This is an unclassified position within Oklahoma State government. In addition to a generous Benefits Packet the annual salary for this position is up to $69,500.00 based on education and experience. 

Primary responsibilities include a thorough understanding of ASP.Net C#-based software development, and general computer skills. This environment also requires a demonstrated practical understanding of source control with application lifecycle management, ASP.Net and C#, software quality assurance, and operating within an Agile software development lifecycle. Ancillary duties require a practical basic understanding of SQL server database development, SSRS reporting, Telerik RadControls, and HTML 5 and Responsive Design.  This position reports to the Education Application Development Manager.

Daily Activities:
Leading and participating in peer code-review.

Writing object oriented C# code to support business needs in accordance with identified requirements, security standards, and coding best practices.

Analyze and design program logic, screen layouts, reports and testing criteria to support development of new applications in ASP.Net

Develop or support database developers in complex Extract, Transform, and Load processes or complex stored procedures that support complex and mission-critical data aggregation and calculation processes.

Participate in structured walk-throughs and other activities to review systems and provide training and support.

Conduct or coordinate user acceptance, regression, and integration testing; make changes and corrections as needed.

Maintain existing applications and provide support to end users and members of the public.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Sciences, Computer Science or an appropriate discipline from an accredited college, university, or career and technology center
AND
3-5 years’ experience in a related position
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.

Preference may be given to applicants who possess experience with the following:

SOLID Object Oriented programming skills with C#

Experience developing ETL Packages and Ad-hoc multi-dimensional reporting platforms (BI Cubes) preferred.

Experience in the management, creation, and administration of data warehouse, business intelligence, or decision support systems.

Experience working in a Software Development lifecycle (SDLC)

Experience writing code with Entity Framework or NHibernate, MVC 4, Web Services, and Telerik RadControls preferred.

Proficiency with AJAX, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS 3, and Quality Assurance and Change Management a plus.
