CHILD WELFARE WORKER II
Children and Family Services
The Health and Human Services Department, Children and Family Division, is currently accepting extra-hire applications for Child Welfare Worker II.
These positions provide a full range of public social service functions in child protective services, including emergency response, court investigations,  family maintenance and family reunification, and permanency planning.  Child Welfare Workers II work with minimal supervision and must have acquired a sufficiently high degree of diagnostic and treatment skills in order to perform casework and treatment services in a variety of complex casework areas.
Minimum qualifications for this position include  either possession of a Master's Degree in Social Work or a Master's degree in a two year counseling program by the time of appointment, or possession of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with coursework related to the field and four years of journey level social casework experience of which two years were in child protective or child placement services at a level comparable to the County's classes of Child Welfare Worker I or Child Welfare Worker I - Bilingual.

Detention Nurse Adult or Family Practitioner

Please note this position works with adult incarcerated inmates and may work eight (8) up to thirty-two (32) hours per week depending on staffing needs.
The work week is Monday through Friday and the shift is typically 8 am to 4 pm.
BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION: Successful applicants will be subject to a thorough and rigorous background investigation which may include, but is not limited to, a criminal records check, interviews with friends, relatives, neighbors and employers verification of DMV records and overall employment and education history.  An applicant may be disqualified for past criminal convictions, poor driving record, providing false background information, and other reasons.
DRUG USE STANDARDS:  No use of any illegal drug in the past three years. No felony drug use (e.g. cocaine, amphetamines, etc.)  in the past five years.  No hallucinogenics ever.  No intravenous drug use or drug sales ever. Applicants successful in testing will be given a polygraph examination and/or computerized voice stress analysis and will be asked about illegal drug use.

Senior Systems Support Analyst
Department of Public Works
THE POSITION: The Senior Systems Support Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Service Agreements team by performing a wide variety of duties related to technical support for the Department of Public Works, Community Development and Marin County Fire departments.  In addition, this position will answer helpdesk questions and provide high level desktop support. Additionally, training users on common software applications and departmental systems and equipment.
Desired Experience and Skills include: Desktop support, troubleshooting all manner of computer problems, network access and permissions, hardware failure, software compatibility. Creating accounts in Active Directories and the Exchange Console. Using Group Policies and Microsoft SCCM to administrate network users, applications, updates, and computers. Supporting and making changes to database applications including Access, SharePoint, and MSSQL. Project planning and execution. Familiarity with the Sitecore website platform a big plus. Support of AutoCad and Esri products including maintenance of licensing servers. Workstation Imaging experience, Windows 8 a plus.
IDEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have the skills necessary to provide technical expertise on assignments requiring highly complex work while working with little or no supervision. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess high level analytical and problem solving expertise, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have an enthusiastic approach to their work and a strong commitment to provide the highest level of customer service possible.
