Chief Financial Officer

Marin County Employees' Retirement Association (MCERA)

The Marin County Employees' Retirement Association is seeking a Chief Fiscal Officer (CFO) who has organizational leadership, financial acumen, strategic business thinking, and effective leadership and communication skills.  The CFO serves as a strategic business partner reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), leads a staff of three and plays a leading role in supporting the great work MCERA provides to its customers.

Social Service Worker II

Health & Human Services

Marin County Health & Human Services has a full-time extra-hire position available within the Aging and Adult Social Services. Social Service Workers II provide advanced social casework services related to Adult Protective Services and In-Home Support Services to a variety of individuals from diverse socio-economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Social Service Workers II must have acquired a sufficiently high degree of diagnostic and treatment skills to perform casework and treatment services in complex casework areas.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of social work, the role and function of a public social services agency, the principles and techniques of interviewing, as well as  methods of social work record keeping including computer applications.  Knowledge and experience with individuals who may have physical and/or emotional problems is desirable.

Mental Health Registered Nurse

Psychiatric Emergency Services

The Marin County Health & Human Services Department is seeking Mental Health Registered Nurses interested in extra hire positions who have previous experience working in a mental health setting, working in a multi-disciplinary team, have strong nursing assessment skills and are comfortable screening for medical and substance abuse issues.  The RN will function as the registered nurse on duty at Marin County Psychiatric Emergency Services.
