EXTRA-HIRE OPPORTUNITY

TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS SPECIALIST II

Health & Human Services

 We are looking for extra help to assist staff with work load balancing for project development.  In addition to the minimum requirements for the position (see class specification), candidates must have minimum 2-3 years in desktop support experience in Windows enterprise environment and excellent customer service skills.  Flexibility, adaptability and self-managing work style is necessary.  Must be a team player with excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills.  Ability and willingness to travel to other County sites desirable.    Helpdesk expertise and knowledge of health industry compliance requirements (i.e., HIPAA) are essential.

  EXTRA-HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Detention Nurse Adult or Family Practitioner

Marin County Jail

 Please note this position works with adult incarcerated inmates and may work eight (8) up to thirty-two (32) hours per week depending on staffing needs. 

The work week is Monday through Friday and the shift is typically 8 am to 4 pm. 

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION: Successful applicants will be subject to a thorough and rigorous background investigation which may include, but is not limited to, a criminal records check, interviews with friends, relatives, neighbors and employers verification of DMV records and overall employment and education history.  An applicant may be disqualified for past criminal convictions, poor driving record, providing false background information, and other reasons.

DRUG USE STANDARDS:  No use of any illegal drug in the past three years. No felony drug use (e.g. cocaine, amphetamines, etc.)  in the past five years.  No hallucinogenics ever.  No intravenous drug use or drug sales ever. Applicants successful in testing will be given a polygraph examination and/or computerized voice stress analysis and will be asked about illegal drug use.
