Mental Health Court Case Manager (#CO0375)

Nature of Work

The fundamental reason this job exists is to assist in identifying and supervising clients placed into the Mental Health Court program.  Work responsibilities include providing the Mental Health Court Judge with Mental Health client status information, supervising clients, and performing administrative duties.  This includes assisting and monitoring program participants in complying with court-ordered conditions and maintaining accurate and timely case notes.  This position reports to the Detention Facility Administrator and also receives daily instruction from the Mental Health Court Clinician.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field and one (1) year of case management experience or a combination of education and experience. 

 

 

NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job will be considered.

 

Special Requirements

Must have a valid Alabama Driver’s License.  Must meet requirements as a Medicaid approved provider within six (6) months after hire date.
