The fundamental reason this position exists is to direct and oversee the special programs and services of the Montgomery Zoo to include marketing and public relations, public education and customers and employee relations. 

The essential functions are: directs fund raising efforts, directs customer or guest relations activities; directs the education, and marketing and public relations efforts; creates/designs documents using graphic arts; and supervises employees.  This position reports directly to the Deputy Director.

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Marketing or related degree and at least three (3) years supervisory and administrative experience in sales, marketing, or fund raising or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
