Washington County Department of Social Services is located in Western Maryland, approximately 75 miles north of the Washington DC area and west of the Baltimore area.
Main Purpose of Job
To provide professional, fully proficient administration of all aspects of human resource services for the Washington County Department of Social Services. The assigned duties and responsibilities include all of the critical functional areas within personnel including, recruitment/employment services, classificatios and compensation, employer-employee relations for both state and contractual positions in an agency of 260 employees.

BARGAINING UNIT STATUS
The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
