Main Purpose of Job

This position functions as the Program Coordinator of the Washington County Child Advocacy Center and the Citizens Review Panel for the Washington County Health Department. This position provides an advanced level of coordinating and advising county agencies involved with the investigation of child sexual and physical abuse; develops and implements rules, standards, and controls the carrying out of the work of the assigned program; develops and manages the budget of the assigned program; provides oversight of five core disciplines: Washington County Department of Social Services, State's Attorney, law enforcement, mental health and medical; partners with eight community agencies to ensure services are provided to children and families; responsible for grant writing and monitoring to sustain, enhance and expand on-site services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Five years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.

Notes:

1. Additional professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

2. Education at the graduate level at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at may be substituted the rate of 30 semester hours per year for up to two years of the required experience.

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

YOU MUST MEET BOTH THE MINIMUM AND SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED.

One year of exprience providing Child Welfare services in a community setting.
