Main Purpose of Job
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Forest Service, in Oakland, Maryland is currently accepting applications for multiple seasonal Maintenance and Campground Operations positions. One seasonal position of either a Campground Operations/Maintenance or Campground Operations. The selected candidates will work at Potomac- Garrett State Forest in Garrett County. Maintenance/Natural Resources Associate (3 vacancies)
40 hours a week, Mon-Fri, beginning in March

40 hours a week, Wed.-Sat. beginning March
Pay: $9.68/hr.
This Position is responsible for all duties associated with campground operations including fee collection in four remote, primitive camping areas; cleaning and maintaining restrooms and campsites, documenting forest activities and general maintenance of

16 hours a week, Fri. & Sat. starting in May/3 months

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: None.
Note:
Experience in biology, park management, law enforcement, forestry, arboriculture, wildlife, aquaculture, natural resources management, or fisheries may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
