Main Purpose of Job
The Shared Services Division within the OPSB, DBM, is seeking individuals to work at the SPS HelpDesk to assist employees with incoming calls and issues related to accessing or logging on to the SPS Workday system.
POSITION DUTIES
The successful candidates will function in a support role in the Division, and shall be able to work independently.
Specifically, the employee will create HelpDesk tickets, walk employees through problem-solving processes, follow up with employees to ensure issues have been resolved and document feedback from employees about the SPS Workday system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Students must possess a minimum of 55 credit hours from an accredited college or university as of May 1, 2015. Business, Human Resources, Engineering or Computer Science majors are preferred.
Experience: Prior help desk or IT experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidates will possess:
An interest in the business analysis environment;
Advanced experience with internet/web-based applications and explaining processes to others;
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written;
Proficient at intermediate level in MS Office including Word, Excel;
Prior help desk experience.
