Main Purpose of Job

This position functions as the Assistant Director of Continuous Improvement and plays a vital role in the design and implementation of programs that analyze the consistency and quality of services.  This position will develop tools, standards and controls that will ensure objectives are achieved, oversee the development, training and deployment of program staff, build tools to monitor program and administrative performance, and provide regular and iterative analysis of large sets of data from multiple sources regarding program and operations.  The position functions as a member of the Agency's senior management team.  The position also provides expert consultation to the Director and the Deputy Directors on options for program improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master's degree with a concentration in Lean Management or Continuous Improvement project implementation or a similar field.

Experience: Five (5) years experience in program management with two (2) years of supervisory experience in a social services field.

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

Certification in project management; Certification in Lean Six Sigma or a related curriculum that included a real-life project, formal in class training and an exam; At least two (2) years experience using Lean or similar principles; At least one (1) year experience in continuous improvement project implementation.
