Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to manage support functions for the Sales Department related to: Sales and Promotion Analysis; Research; Budget; Procurement; Internal Policies and Procedures; Administrative Support and Required Monthly Reporting.

POSITION DUTIES

  • Supervise Sales analysts staff employees.
  • Collect, monitor and disseminate information related to the Sales Department’s budget. 
  • Manage the Sales Department’s procurement requests.
  • Collect, manage and update information for the Sales Department's intranet. 
  • Manage and establish policies and procedures that support the needs of the Sales Department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a Business, Marketing, Management or Finance major.  

Experience: Five (5) or more years of relevant business experience with at least two (2) of those years working at a management or executive level supervising the performance of others.  

Notes:  

1. Additional experience in marketing, finance, or business administration at the management level may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.  

2. Additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university may be substituted at the rate of 30 semester credit hours on a year to year basis for the required general experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Experience with budget preparation, tracking and analysis.  
  • Ability to collect, manage and update information for Sales Department Intranet.  
  • Familiarity with Procurement, Inventory Management and Sales Promotional Analysis.
