Main Purpose of Job

The Comprehensive Care Program Director/Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for successful operation of our skilled nursing facility (SNF) program and residents served by the program. The Program Director oversees the SNF based Respiratory Care/Ventilator Program and the comprehensive care residents. The focus of the position is to assure quality of life, and quality outcomes for the persons and families served. As a member of Senior Leadership of WMHC they are responsible for the Program strategic planning, resource allocation, ongoing performance improvement, treatment coordination, financial performance, staff education, evaluation and performance. The Program Director supervises multiple positions including a dual reporting relationship for the Clinical Manager (Nurse Manger) with the CNO. As a senior leader, the Program Director fully participates with all functions and duties of the governing body of WMHC. The position reports directly to the CEO and may be required to act on the CEO's behalf in their absence. The Program Director is also responsible to assure the Program is in conformance with all State and Federal guidelines, as well as, any other accrediting body that reviews the Program, i.e., The Joint Commission for Long Term Care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates must possess 5 years of experience administrating a Long Term Care facility and a license as a Nursing Home Administrator from the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Must possess a license as a Nursing Home Administrator from the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators.  A copy of license must be attached to application.
