Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose is protecting the safety and security of persons and state property at the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Ability to read and write.

Experience: None.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of an automobile. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Employees in this classification are subject to call 24 hours a day and, therefore, will be required to acquire telephone service at their place of residence.
