Main Purpose of Job
This position will be responsible for supporting the Division Chief and division project leads with monitoring, implementation, analysis, coordination, and procurement related to quality assurance activities. Working within the Division of HealthChoice Management and Quality Assurance under the HealthChoice and Acute Care Administration, this position will play a vital role in tracking the implementation, usage, and proliferation of information related to Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) data collection, external quality review organization (EGRO) activities, provider and/or member satisfaction surveys, and health risk assessments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: One year of experience performing qualitative or quantitative analysis.
Note:
Eighteen (18) credit hours towards a Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration, Public Policy or closely related field may be substituted for the required experience.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

BARGAINING UNIT STATUS
The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
