LOCATION OF POSITION

7800 Harkins Road Lanham, MD 20706

The DHCD Headquarters is located at the New Carrollton metro stop in Prince George's County.

POSITION DUTIES

DHCD has an immediate opening for a Home Servicing Supervisor in its Division of Credit Assurance. This individual must be highly organized and provides portfolio management for DHCD in-house servicing for the Single Family Federal Home Program which includes loan set-up, loan payments, loss mitigation risk and assessments, loan defaults, and foreclosures, payoff releases, database maintenance and portfolio reporting and statistics. The Home Servicing Supervisor also provides the file and document management for the entire DHCD single family loan servicing portfolio. This position supervises the servicing specialist.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Experience: Three years experience in administrative or professional work.

Notes:

  1. Candidates may substitute additional experience in administrative staff or professional work on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
  2. Candidates may substitute additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for each year of the required experience.
  3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included the regular independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year to year basis for the required education and experience.  

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have one year experience in processing mortgage loans or mortgage servicing.

LIMITATIONS ON SELECTION

Candidates must be willing to work in Prince George's County.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

BARGAINING UNIT STATUS

The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
