Main Purpose of Job

Responsible for Maintaining and updating the MAP resource directory listings; Including contacting providers for accurate information. Position also will focus on housing resources Statewide and identify communities with large populations of older adults. Accurately and quickly enters data for all resource directory listings, including ensuring that all minimum required data fields are populated and correct. Participates in periodic communications (such as blast e-mails)to providers in resource directory to obtain updated information about the provider and its programs. Responds to inquiries regarding resource directory listing accuracy, addition, and changes. Provides administrative support to team members.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Completion of 60 credit hours at an accredited college or university

EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in administrative or professional work.

Applicants may substitute experience as defined above for the required education at the rate of one-year experience for credit hours or education, for up to 60 credit hours of the required education.

 

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong preference will be given to applicants who possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database software applications
  • Strong writing skills

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle.  Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
