LOCATION OF POSITION

Annapolis, MD (Anne Arundel County)

Main Purpose of Job

The Department of Natural Resources, Boating Services Unit, Boat Tax Enforcement Division, is currently accepting applications for a Contractual position. This position will assist in the investigation and enforcement of procedures and policies that ensure compliance with Maryland's State Boat Act. Applicants must have a working knowledge of vessel operation and vessel trailering.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: Completion of 60 credit hours at an accredited college or university.

Experience: Two years of experience in administrative or professional work.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute experience as defined above at the rate of one year experience for 30 credit hours of education for up to 60 credit hours of the required education.

2. Candidates may substitute a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university for the required education and experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with vessel operation and vessel trailering is preferred but not required.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
